Today we celebrate the beginning of missions for a new generation!

 During our VBS Week, Luised Prieto led our kids in a powerful time of Bible teaching and missional involvement. The help we had from so many parents and volunteers was amazing to pull this off. One unique serve opportunity the kids had involved creating hope butterflies through the JoyFM initiative.

Hope Butterflies are sent to children battling cancer in hospitals throughout the US. Through our VBS efforts, our kids completed 45 butterflies to be sent out to cancer patients. We are thankful for this labor of love our children engaged in and we hope this will be the beginning of many works they will perform unto the Lord!

Our 301 Partner, Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center has been fully positioned and ready for such a time as this! With the reversal of Roe vs. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court, the establishing, financing and deployment of Queen City PRC to be fully operational for the year of 2022 demonstrates how amazing God’s timing is.

 Currently in North Carolina abortion is legal up to 19 weeks and 6 days. It is likely that our state legislature will not overturn this (keep praying!) but, it is foreseeable that trigger laws in South Carolina will ban abortion in that state. As a result, Queen City PRC is anticipating an influx of abortion determined woman coming from South Carolina to Charlotte in order to have abortion procedures. Their aim is to target this influx of woman and families through a multitude of channels and save as many lives as possible.  

Please pray for two specific things: Queen City is seeking to hire more nurses to keep up with increase of demand. Pray that qualified Christian nurses can be found for this important time. Secondly, Queen City is not on the radar of protesters as of yet, but they have wisely chosen to heighten their security. Please pray for their staff, clients and property, that God would protect them from any who would do them harm. What a blessing to have Queen City PRC as our partner as they continue the front-line fight of saving lives!
