As a son and grandson of noted pastors, Rob learned early in life what it meant to minister to others. During one of his father’s revival meetings, the gospel message touched him, and he surrendered to Jesus. His life would never be the same.
Born in New Orleans, Rob moved to Spartanburg, SC during high school. He attended North Greenville University and excelled as a Division II basketball player, earning 2nd Team All-American honors. More importantly, he became part of the ministerial team at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg where he served as Collegiate Minister and began a path to full-time ministry.
After marrying his high school sweetheart, Annabeth, the couple returned to Rob’s birth city of New Orleans. Here, they welcomed Bolt, twins Mack and Birk, and McCall. Rob furthered his education, earning a Masters of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
