Frequently Asked Questions
Which service times do you offer in Kids Ministry?
Small groups meet at 9:00am while grown-ups attend Sunday school classes, and KIDS worship, and our large-group lesson takes place at 10:30am!
How old does my child need to be to attend?
We receive kids starting at 8 weeks old, all the way through 5th grade!
Do you offer anything for kids with Special Needs?
We do not have a separate program specifically for children with special needs; however, we strive to accommodate everyone as much as possible.
If you feel led to serve these children and their families, we would love to connect with you. Together, we can explore how you might help us grow our ministry and enhance the experience for our families.

What if my child has allergies?
All allergies must be flagged during registration, and each child's name tag will print with an allergy note. Our leaders are very mindful of checking these tags, and we accommodate an allergy-friendly room as needed.
What does my child need to bring?
In the nursery and toddler areas, children need to have their own diaper bags, which should include diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. If you would like us to feed your child, please provide their bottles and snacks.
Children aged 3 and up do not need to bring anything unless you prefer for them to carry their own water bottle.

What will my child do while in Kids Ministry?
Every week, we hold a Bible-based lesson in both our preschool and elementary spaces. These lessons are designed specifically for each age group and tailored to their learning levels. They aim to reveal the truth of Jesus' love.
We include a variety of hands-on activities, worship time, playtime, and engaging take-home activities to help you continue the discipleship journey at home!

Who will be caring for my child?
Our KIDS team has undergone thorough screening and training to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children. All leaders are at least 21 years of age.
Additionally, we have student volunteers who assist in our programs; however, they are always under the supervision of an adult for safety and guidance.

How are preschool environments different from elementary?
Preschool classes are designed with careful consideration, from the furniture and layout to the schedule and variety of activities. Everything is intentionally crafted to meet the needs of children according to their age group and to facilitate their growth in faith at a level that suits them best.
What safety and security protocols do you have in place?
Every leader undergoes a background check and is trained for emergencies such as fires, tornadoes, and lockdowns. Our security team continuously monitors the children throughout the entire time. Only individuals who have passed a background check and have a tag are permitted in our spaces. Additionally, doors are closed and locked 15 minutes after programming begins.
What resources do you provide to partner with families?
Beginning in kindergarten, you will receive an email each month outlining the learning schedule for the coming weeks. This email will also include Bible verses, questions, activities, and challenges designed to help you raise your child in the ways of the Lord.
